  2. SYMPTOMS are itching of the webs of the fingers, genitals, under the arms,
  3. the beltline area, elbows, wrists and breasts.
  4. CAUSES are from sarcoptes scabiei (the itch mite). It burrows under the skin
  5. and deposits its eggs. Transmitted by skin-to-skin contact.
  6. TREATMENT. Prescribed medicated lotion or cream.
